Garry Lee - Houston

Garry T. Lee Jr was born to Pamela and Garry Lee Sr. on November 22, 1979 in the south Houston, Tx area. At the young age of 5, Garry was inundated with computer-related gadgets as the verge of the technological industry was upon him. After a small transition from Hobby Elementary to Kelso Elementary, Garry was sent to Hartman Middle School's Magnet Program to focus on math and science as a stable foundation for his love of technology.

During this time, he became the big brother to his newborn sibling Patrick Julian Lee. After completing middle school with honors, Garry was accepted into the Vanguard program at Jesse H. Jones High School. There, he amassed a barrage of new friends including

those met during his induction to the school's Greek society, G Phi G (formally known as Gents).

Mid-way through his high school career, Garry was forced to say goodbye to those friends as his family packed up and moved from the inner city to the suburbs of Houston. He completed high school, graduating from Willowridge in 1998 and became the big brother to his twin siblings DaVon and LaShawn Lee.

After gradation, Garry set his sights on furthering his desire for technology and attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. Due to unforeseen financial issues, he was forced to retreat back home and continue his education at University of Houston and U of H-Downtown.

Garry was inducted into Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated during the fall of 2002 and worked extensively through community service projects. While receiving his bachelor degree in Computer Science and minor in Mathematics, he formed Vortex Computer Systems as his reach into technology and service for the Houston area. Over the last 13 years, Vortex has continued to supply the technology needs of small businesses to private schools, law firms, physician offices, and other entities. While at the helm of Vortex, Garry still strives to deliver community service in the Houston area to those in need.
